Why We Built The Sandbox

Too many brilliant student ideas fade away because the creator doesn't know how to code or build the app. At the same time, talented student developers are stuck building generic, boring projects for their portfolios. The Sandbox Project bridges that gap, pairing visionary non-technical students with eager student coders to build something real.

Weeks 1 -5

The Founder Incubator

Middle and high school Founders join our intensive 5-week boot camp. They learn how to identify problems, design UI/UX wireframes, and record the ultimate 3-minute pitch.

The Pitch Board & Matchmaking

Builders get exclusive access to tune into the Founder pitches. Builders form their tech squads, submit their top choices, and we make the ultimate Co-Founder matches.

Months 2 - 4

The Build Stage (MVP)

This is the core of The Sandbox, where teams collaborate online. Founders handle user testing and product vision, while Builders write the code to bring the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to life.

With the core app built, teams spend the final month squashing bugs, refining the design, and practicing their live presentations for the big stage.
